Digital Making event

Date
Date
Wednesday 21 September 2016

This event is an opportunity to share highlights from a research project on “Digital Making” involving two schools in Leeds.

The project was funded by the Society for Educational Studies (SES) and it explored the process of Digital Making from an interdisciplinary perspective, examining the practical implications for teachers and learners, and the social and “micropolitical” aspects of Digital Making in schools: sponsorship, branding, influencing and so forth. The event will bring together researchers, practitioners and students to discuss recent trends and findings in Digital Making and Maker Education, and to identify shared areas of interest and future development.

Educational researchers and teachers interested in attending should contact Carlo Perrotta: c.perrotta@leeds.ac.uk
